Frequently Asked Questions...
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about my services and organizing in general.
What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional Organizer is someone with the training, skills, talent, and experience to help you transform the spaces where you live or work, from chaos to calm. Becoming organized improves efficiencies, and allows you to spend less time finding things and more time doing things.
What services does In Your Space Organizing provide?
In Your Space Organizing provides both Residential and Business space organizing services, as well as additional specialized services. Please see a complete listing of Residential Services or Business Services here. If you don't see a service you are interested in listed, please Contact me to discuss if my qualifications meet your needs.
How do I know if I need a Professional Organizer?
Only you can make that decision, based on your commitment to get organized. If you have started many times and never finished, too busy with work and family priorities, or under a time crunch, you may want to consider a professional to help you get it done.
How long will it take you to organized me?
The time it takes to get organized depends on the spaces you want to get organized, the space condition, your schedule and availability. During our initial Needs Assessment meeting, we will establish priorities, estimate work hours needed, schedule work sessions, and complete projects as quickly as possible.
Do you work alone, or do I need to be there during work sessions?
That's entirely up to you. Initially, it is a good idea to work together if the project involves your making decisions on downsizing, clutter control, and / or space changes. This is a great opportunity for you to learn organizing skills and maintenance techniques. After the initial session, I am perfectly fine organizing the space by myself.
How much do you charge, and what is your payment policy?
My rates are listed on my Residential Services or Business Services page. Payment for the Needs Assessment and Working Sessions is due at the end of each work day. I accept Cash, Checks, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
What if I only need your help for a few hours?
That's perfectly fine! I typically schedule a minimum of 4 hours for each work session.
Will all my information and work sessions be confidential?
Absolutely! All communication: meetings, conversations, work sessions, e-mails, and text messages are confidential and
between you and me only. Please read my Confidentiality Commitment and Code of Conduct on my About page to learn more.
